KTCL's Big Gig offers Big Opportunities to Local Bands

 

 

Channel 93.3 FM KTCL in Denver is one of the most supportive national radio stations in the country when it comes to local music.  They have been credited with helping break CO groups such as The Fray, Flobots, Tickle Me Pink, and the Lumineers.  DJ Alf host the weekly Locals Only Show and the station adds local favorites into regular rotation.  They also hold contests throughout the year for new bands to emerge.  The most recent being the Big Gig where not one but two Northern Colorado acts were announced as winners this past weekend.  Big congratulations to Post Paradise and Pandas and People, who will play at Fiddler's Green on Saturday July 19th with Panic at the Disco! You can also see both groups perform at this year's Bohemian Nights at NewWestFest.  Catch Post Paradise on Friday August 15th at 5:55 PM on the Mountain Ave Stage.  Pandas and People take over Old Town Square on Sunday August 17th at 1:30 PM.  Support your local music scene because every national band comes from a local scene and your scene is on fire right now!
