In 1996, a chance merging of musical minds put Jon Snodgrass and Chad Price to work recording 20 tracks that would later be released as demos. Those "demos" set the foundation for one of the longest running and most popular bands in Fort Collins. With their background drenched in punk rock, their unique approach to country music set them apart. Of course we're talking about alt country favorites Drag the River. They have toured the world a few times over and have die hard fans in every nook and cranny. I couldn't imagine having the 150th birthday of Fort Collins without one of our most beloved bands playing the party. So it's with great honor that we have the full band playing for this year's Bohemian Nights at NewWestFest. Drag the River will take the Linden St Stage on Saturday at 7:10 PM.
