Festival season is one of the best seasons if you ask me, especially when you live in Colorado. With all of our sunshine, great music, and beautiful outdoor settings; we host some of the most sought after concerts across the country. Every weekend there is a new venue, a new lineup, and a new festival ground to explore. The first day will sting with anticipation as the crowd anxiously awaits that first chord followed by a thunderous applause that ripples from the front row to the very back of the line. The excitement carries throughout the weekend and it's not until the day after that you realize just how sad you are it had to end and you find yourself counting down the days until the next year and you can experience it all over again.
As we anxiously await the 2014 Bohemian Nights at NewWestFest lineup, highlights from the past 10 years replay in my mind. So much music, so little time. Mapping out my weekend, practicing to perfect our set, running from stage to stage until my feet ached, and hearing Chris K's voice boom over the main stage. There are so many memories past and so many more to be made. I can't wait to dive into this year's schedule and share our musicians' stories with you! There's so much to look forward to that I can't believe it's finally here...
