Yes, you read that right. Might I add how excited I am, just in case the multiple exclamation points didn't give it away?! Starting out as a burlesque backing band, DeVotchKa are one of the biggest breakouts from the Colorado music scene. The group have earned international success and tour the world to packed out audiences with their superbly visual live show and hauntingly beautiful music. They were nominated for a Grammy in 2006 for the soundtrack to Little Miss Sunshine. They followed that up with How It Ends being used in the movie Everything is Illuminated, in addition to video games and television shows. They performed last night at the world famous Red Rocks Amphitheatre to a sold out crowd and the Colorado Symphony backing them up. Just a normal day at the office. Make sure to mark your calendar for DeVotchKa's return to Bohemian Nights at NewWestFest. They'll take the Mountain Ave Stage on Sunday August 17th at 3:50 PM.
