Talk about a blast from the past! There have been so many great Colorado acts that have graced the Bohemian Nights at NewWestFest stages that sometimes some really hidden gems get lost in the mix. Who remembers Improv? In 2009, his single Miss Hedonist blew up radio stations across the country and that song became the unofficial anthem of college students everywhere. Improv, aka Jared Collett, is best known as a producer even though he's also an incredible lyricist. For a long time he would perform with just his iPod to provide his beats. After assembling a live band to back him up, he hit gold with this song. Although the band is no longer together, Jared is still in the music biz. He can be found producing down at The One Room Studio in Denver. There is no official video for Miss Hedonist, but there is a fan made one that I hope you will enjoy listening to. Elijah Pratt is singing the soulful catchy hook that will most likely be stuck in your head all day (you're welcome).
