Talk about going out with a bang! Tonight is the last Thursday Night Live (TNL) concert for this summer and we couldn't think of a better way to celebrate than with hometown favorites SHEL. They named the band after each sister in the act; Sarah, Hannah, Eva, and Liza. And these lovely ladies truly are an amazing group of musicians. Music has always been in their lives. They started out young and played out as part of their father, Andrew's backing band. Their confidence and abilities grew and it wasn't long before Andrew found himself backing up the girls. Since then they've branched out on their own as just SHEL and have been blowing it up on a national level. Finding a niche with their unique vocal stylings and a purist approach to their instruments, the music shines when they take the stage. They've toured Europe, lived part time in Nashville, signed to a national label, garnered press and praise from music critics across the country, had a song featured on CBS and ABC Family, and played at countless festivals and prime slots including: eTown, Lilith Fair, South by Southwest and many more. Make sure to stop by Old Town Square tonight at 7 PM to see SHEL in action.
