Colorado Lineup Just Announced and it's Amazing!!

I don't know about you, but I've been waiting for today since last August! Our Colorado Music Scene is absolutely on fire right now and Bohemian Nights at NewWestFest once again has their finger on the pulse of the hottest bands in the state, as well as some super awesome up and comers.  There are so many bands that I can't wait to see; favorites, staples, newbies, every band in the lineup... But we have all summer to dive into them.  For today, I want to highlight a few bands that you should know about looking through the more than 70 LOCAL BANDS that are playing the festival this year.

IN THE WHALE - The dynamic duo of Nate and Eric just keep getting more amazing.  They wowed us for a few years now with their high energy stage show and in your face rock and roll.  This year the buzz is loud.  They'll be coming home hot and heavy from their official performances at both Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits.

AIR DUBAI - The Denver based hip hop outfit hit the ground running with their polished sound, smooth flow, and super tight live band.  Receiving national radio play in addition to their relentless tour schedule, the group are a favorite with young and older audiences alike.  

NATHANIEL RATELIFF & THE NIGHT SWEATS - We've watched Nathaniel Rateliff and his bandmates change not only in sound but also band names (think Born in the Flood, Nathaniel Rateliff and the Wheel, just Nathaniel Rateliff).  The group seems to have found their stride with their newest incarnation.  This internationally known superstar has shared the stage with Mumford & Sons (Marcus Mumford has even been known to back him up on his original songs - BOOM), been called a favorite songwriter by Robert Plant of Led Zeppelin (READ IT), and most recently played at Governor Hickenlooper's Inauguration Ball.
