If you follow Fierce Bad Rabbit on social media, you may have noticed the recent activity in regards to new music. The Fort Collins based indie rockers are gearing up for the release of their newest album Living Asleep, which is set to drop on September 23rd. In anticipation of the date, the group have been slowing leaking tracks for their fans to enjoy. Recorded this past spring at the Sonic Ranch down in Texas, the band worked with famed producer Danny Kalb to try and hone in on their writing skills and capture their new sound. The collaboration proved to be more than successful as they pumped out song after song with the effort culminating into the much anticipated new record Living Asleep. Yesterday they dropped the single Dreaming of Things to Be. Most of you may know that my husband is their bass player Dayton. We have a sweet baby girl named Mattie Lou, who lead singer Chris Anderson wrote this song for. It has a super special place in my heart for that reason, but it's also very well written and incorporates vocal patterns from the 60s. So I hope you will enjoy this new music as much as I do.
