Or so they say. I'm not sure that the undead have ever made such sweet music. The Widow's Bane are a band that you don't just want to listen to though. They are the band that you want to fully experience. They are a little bit Polka, a little bit Americana, a little bit like the love child of Ween and Tom Waits, and they are always 100% entertaining. Incorporating theatrics into their live show with incredible zombie makeup and Depression Era costumes, they definitely stand out in a crowd. But underneath the facade is a group of amazing musicians that write some great songs with fun hooks, catchy choruses, and tongue in cheek lyrics. You can find The Widow's Bane at Bohemian Nights at NewWestFest on Sunday August 17th on the Old Town Square Stage at 4:30 PM. And although this may sound weird, you'll want to bring the whole family to this show. Trust me on this one, the kiddos LOVE them!
