The Yawpers - Putting the Rock Back into Roll

The Yawpers eat, drink, and sleep rock and roll.  In fact, I'm sure that it oozes from their pores. Putting every ounce of themselves into their music, they are drenched with sweat as they swagger across the stage.  They demand your attention and by the end of the set they've earned your admiration.  Armed with two acoustic guitars and drums, the full sound they produce is nothing compared to the ruckus they make.  They've become one of the most talked about bands in the state and in just a few short years have earned a loyal following and countless fans across the country.  You can hear their musical influences and almost feel the nostalgia of 70s Southern bluesy arena rock. The Yawpers will be coming back to this year's Bohemian Nights at NewWestFest and closing down the Old Town Square Stage on Saturday August 16th.  They go on 8 PM and I can guarantee that it's going to get a little rowdy!
